414. NFF | Part 3: Wartezeit - Type Rating | Austrian Airlines
This video is the third part of the 414th NFF Course. After having graduated flight school in Bremen we entered a waiting period "Wartezeit" before getting the chance to begin with our type ratings. This video shows what we did during this period and thereafter, the A320 type rating from an MPL viewpoint.

This video is part two of my 5 weeks spent flying in America. This is about our 4 day trip to and back from New York with a C172. We started off in Daytona, Florida (KDAB) and flew VFR to Linden, New Jersey(KLDJ) before going into town and later on flying the Hudson Corridor. Hammer Video! Gucke es mir seit Jahren immer wieder an. Ich habe so lange davon geträumt, irgendwann mal selbst bei der Lufthansa angefangen, und jetzt wo ich meine Abi fast fertig habe, sieht alles nicht gerade optimal aus was die Pilotenausbildung angeht ^^ wünsche euch alles Gute und many happy landings!

Es tut so weh das zu sehen und zu wissen das man jetzt erstmal ewig warten kann oder das es vielleicht für einen selber garnicht mehr klappt und das man nicht mal selber schuld ist weil man die tests verkackt hat ich hoffe die bilden bald wieder aus dann ist die Bewerbung nachem studium raus

Is the price of travel, food and accommodation in the USA included in the payment of training?
You'll have to check on the website since things have changed since I was there. "Back then" we did not have to pay extra for the accommodation and flights to the US.
Could I ask a question? Do you choose on which Lufthansa Group airline you will work or you will be employed to one of Lufthansa Group airline by administration of Lufthansa Group?
There is no guarantee that you will become a pilot from Lufthansa, could also be that you fly for another group airline.

I'm a foreigner from South Korea and if I get a pilot training from Lufthansa, can I become a Lufthansa pilot? I wonder whether Lufthansa sees a citizenship of German.
There is no guarantee that you will become a pilot for Lufthansa airlines.

Ein vierter Teil wäre mega geil. Die Videos von eurer Ausbildung sind einfach legendär. Super motivierend und es macht einfach so viel Spaß anzuschauen was für coole Jahre das waren ... bis auf die Wartezeit
Vielen dank :) Freut mich zu hören! Die Wartezeit hat uns zum Glück nicht so hart getroffen, man muss nur wissen was man währenddessen macht ;). Mal schauen was ein vierter Teil angeht, ich sammle schonmal aufnahmen, kann aber nichts versprechen.
Ich hab das Video das erste mal geguckt da war ich 10 ich gucke es mir jetzt mit 15 immer noch an und weiß schon seit langem das ich Pilot werden will. Ihr lebt meinen Traum und habt ein Video gemacht wovon ich immer noch Gänsehaut kriege Respekt!!!

Goodafternoon Cpt.Mirko Sylla, I would like to ask you how life is being as a Pilot, is it what you have imagined it to be? I am working my butt off at the Gymnasium to reach what you have accomplished. If you can tell me how the entrance exams are at the European Aviation School is? How can one prepare himself to pass those exams? Any tips you can give me on that so that I may fulfill my life's dream to become a Pilot like my dad once was.
Hey Paul, first of all Mirko is enough ;). It has its ups and downs, but personally for me, it is what I imagined it to be. I believe that the entrance exams have slightly changed since I had them, but I think on their website there should be enough information about it. For the first test (BU), practice hard and don't underestimate it and for the second phase, just be yourself and try not to "fake" your personality.

This year I'll be finishing school and I kinda speaks English very well and fluent. The point is that I would like to train in Lufthansa, could you please tell me if the classes are in German? There are two different "paths" at the flight school, one is with the MPL license which would theoretically be for LH and for that you would need to know German. The other option is the ATPL and there, the classes are in English. Thank you and I wish you good luck!

@@obaidn959 Jaein, wir waren/sind NFF's und sind für die LH vorhergesehen. Jedoch wegen der längeren Wartezeiten hatten wir die Möglichkeit bei der AUA zwischendurch zu fliegen.

You have to be eligible to work and live in the EU and depending on which program you want to do, there may fall further requirements. However, you can find all the info on their website ;)
